Help Us Celebrate!
The Forsyth County Department of Public Health joins the National Social Work Association in celebrating National Professional Social Work Month 2009. The Public Health Social Worker has a strong desire to help improve people’s lives. They assist people by helping them cope with issues in their everyday lives, deal with their relationships, solve personal and family problems, and access community resources.
Our social workers have unique training and education to see the purpose and possibility in the lives of those they serve. They make infinite possibilities and connections in the lives of clients in the Maternity Care Coordination Program as well as Family Care Coordination program. Join us as we recognized the great work of our four Public Health Social Workers: Patty Goodrich, Robin Macklin, Kay Roth and Jessica Simandle.
