Share Your Holiday Joy With Local Children
Gifts from the heart: Most agree that the best gift of the holiday season is the joyful feeling experienced when giving to others. Many of us have the resources to spread holiday cheer to the loved ones in our lives. However, there are countless others in our community that are living with circumstances that are beyond their control and they deserve our support.
Did you know? In our community, approximately one out of every ten children live with their grandparent or other relative caregiver? In our county, more than 200 children live with foster parents?
Did you realize? You or groups you are affiliated with {work, sports, faith-based, civic, youth, alumni or social} can help! Families need assistance with necessary basics (clothing, shoes, coats, bedding items), as well as other common items that every child deserves.
How do I get family lists or get started? Contact Teresa Bryant at 703-3744,
bryanttc@forsyth.cc or Brigitte Lindsey at 703-3697,
lindsabp@forsyth.cc to coordinate your holiday service project to benefit our community.

Social Services’ Relatives as Parents Program, “RAPP” groups and
our Foster Home Licensing Services.
