Youth Advocates Host Kick Butts Day Carnival
The Forsyth County TRU (Tobacco.Reality.Unfiltered) Youth Advisory Council is having the second Kick Butts Day Carnival at the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club here in Winston-Salem on Saturday, March 27th from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
This is a day for the entire community to speak out against youth tobacco use and initiation, and to stand up for youth tobacco prevention in Forsyth County. The Youth Advisory Council is hosting this event for youth, parents, and families, and it is FREE. There will be lots of fun educational activities, popcorn, and prizes. You will also get a chance to hear from a cancer survivor and how using tobacco has affected her.
Come out and join us as we work towards the first generation of tobacco-free teens in North Carolina. For more information contact Yalonda Miller at 336-703-3147.
We look forward to seeing you there!
