Youth Advocates Host 3rd Annual Kick Butts Day Carnival

The Forsyth County TRU (Tobacco.Reality.Unfiltered) Youth Advisory Council is having the third annual Kick Butts Day Carnival at the William G. White, Jr. Family YMCA at 775 West End Blvd here in Winston-Salem on Friday, March 25th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.

This is an evening for the entire community to raise awareness about youth tobacco use and initiation, and to engage the community in physical activity while standing up for youth tobacco prevention in Forsyth County. The Youth Advisory Council is hosting this event for youth, parents, and families, and it is FREE. There will be lots of fun educational activities, food, and prizes. You will also have the opportunity to use exercise equipment to learn about the dangers of tobacco and secondhand smoke.

If you are a middle school or high school student interested in showing-off your talents on the basketball court be sure to sign-up for the 3-on-3 Tobacco Free Basketball Tournament – registration starts March 21st. See the registration form below.
