Effective September 1, 2016 there will be changes to some of the fees charged at the Forsyth County Department of Public Health. The purpose of charging fees is to increase resources and use them to meet residents' needs in a fair and balanced way. Fee amounts are set based on the real cost of providing needed and recommended health services to the community. On May 4, 2016, the Forsyth County Board of Health voted to approve the proposed fee changes, and the fees were unanimously approved by the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners on July 11, 2016.
Forsyth County Department of Public Health will review fees annually and recommend adjusted changes as needed.
