Synopsis and Discussion
Particle pollution levels started Sunday, slightly elevated but have decreased due to stronger winds, thus, the daily average will be upper code GREEN or low code YELLOW. Ozone is lower and code GREEN. A strong cold front will cross the state, Monday. Ahead and along the front, severe weather is possible, which in turn will lead to lower pollution readings and code GREEN air quality. Behind the front, a much cooler, cleaner air mass will overspread the region, resulting in code GREEN particle pollution and ozone Tuesday and Wednesday (GENTRY).
