HEALTHWISE is a community exercise program coordinated by the Forsyth County Department of Public Health. It is a joint effort between the Winston-Salem Parks and Recreation Department, American Red Cross, YWCA and the Kernersville Senior Enrichment Center.

  • The program is FREE and open to the public.
  • The exercise program is held at different locations throughout Forsyth County.
  • The target population for this exercise program is older adults or adults who have or are at risk of developing a chronic disease.
  • The classes consist of cardiovascular activity, and strength building with weight and/or exercise bands.
